DIY - Spice up snail mail in four steps

Step 1. What you send is more important than how you send it. To spice up long distance relationships, use handmade paper, unique or funny cards, collages or other creative mediums.

Step 2. Letters can be boring and time sensitive. Don't send a your daily story via snail mail. Instead, try sending a poem, story, picture, photo or drawing. The possibiities are endless.

Step 3.

Packages are always a pleasant surprise. A simple mix CD can be a fun addition, or you could go all out and include a bunch of little surprises.

Step 4.

Packaging is always important. Taking the extra time to make what you send your letter or package in can be a thoughtful gesture he/she will appreciate.
