Barack Obama's campaign announced Thursday that the Democratic presidential candidate will be in Terre Haute Saturday.
Obama will give an informal speech on his plans for "getting the country back on track," said Jonathan Swin, the Indiana communications director for Obama's campaign.
"It's not going to be a formal speech," Swin said.
An audience-driven question-and-answer session will follow the speech.
Tickets distribution begins at 9 a.m. today at the Campaign for Change headquarters at Fifth Street and Wabash Ave. and are free.
Tickets are required to get into the event.
The event will be at the Vigo County Fairgrounds and starts at 12:30 p.m.
Doors open at 11 a.m. "This is just an opportunity to talk to Hoosiers about his plan to … bring change to Washington," Swin said.
