Dust can easily settle in your room, especially if you have the windows open a lot.

Chairs
The residence halls already provide two chairs, so an extra one just takes up space.

Extra Blankets
It gets cold in the winter, but the residence halls are usually hot because of the heaters.

Toaster
These are hazardous and can cause fires.

Candles
Open flames are not allowed, but candle warmers are.

Pets
Most aren’t allowed in the residence halls, and they can become a nuisance.
