Johnny Knoxville gained fame from the TV show “Jackass”.

Now, he is giving four guys from Finland the same opportunity in his new show “The Dudesons in America.” Knoxville recently held a private VIP press conference over the phone to announce the new show.

Knoxville talked to 25 press members and was joined by the leader of the Dudesons, Jukka Hilden.

“First of all I want to say that I’m pretty impressed with all this high-tech stuff you have here,” Hilden said. “We don’t have all this in Finland.”

Hilden said the show is about four best friends since childhood who came to America from Finland to live the American Dream.

“We’re here with the help of our good friend, Johnny Knoxville, the Devil himself,” Hilden said. “When we met him it was a match made in Hell, or maybe Heaven. The show is mainly us trying to do even more stupid crap than we did back home.”

The show will compare to “Jackass”. Hilden said one stunt performed in the show will be walking into a bullring on stilts.

They will also stand on top of a seven-story building while it implodes.

“We’ve gone to the hospital about five times,” Hilden said. “We’ve had broken arms, a broken back, broken ribs, torn ACL, busted tailbone, busted ankle and one burned face, so coming to America, I think Uncle Sam is our new best friend.”

Knoxville said it was easy to convince MTV that the Dudesons were worth a shot at having their own show.

“We walked in with footage of the Dudesons and they know the Dudesons,” he said.

“Then you walk in with footage of the Dudesons and you meet the Dudesons and it’s very easy. MTV was very happy to get in business with them.”

Knoxville said fans can expect to see the cast of “Jackass” in the show at some point as well.

“There’s some “Jackass” guys on the Dudesons,” he said. “I’ve shot with them and a few of the guys will be in it.”

Knoxville also said the Dudesons can be seen in the upcoming “Jackass 3D” movie.

“You can expect stupidity…in 3D,” he said. “We’re happy to have the Dudesons in the movie.”

The Dudesons in America will debut on MTV on May 6 at 10 p.m.
