The Indiana State University men's and women's basketball teams will begin their 2011-12 season campaign on Friday.  

ISU Men's Head Coach Greg Lansing and the defending Missouri Valley Conference Sycamores will host Ohio Valley Conference Eastern Illinois University.  Tip off is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Hulman Center.  

Head Coach Teri Moren and the Sycamore women's basketball team will play Detroit in their season opener.  Tip off is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. at the Hulman Center.  The game is the first for the Sycamores in the Preseason Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT) opener.
