For his spring break, my brother eschewed traditional spring break locations such as Tijuana, Florida and Anchorage, Alaska, in favor of visiting me in Terre Haute. As I myself have been around the city long enough to pick up the smell, I was wondering what the impressions of a Delawarean (that's what we call people from Delaware, all six of them) would be.

This past Wednesday, Indiana Department of Education released their annual report of schools that are considered "passing" or "failing" based upon the requirements of No Child Left Behind. A school is considered "passing" if every subgroup meets or exceeds math and English requirements in a standardized test (or if they've met a certain percentage of improvement).

As reported by the British Broadcasting Corporation, Britain and India are on to something big. A new reality show will begin soon, showing across India and Great Britain. Entitled "Scholar Hunt: Destination UK," the show is a chance for Indian students to compete for full scholarships to five British universities.
