Sunday night, in the middle of the daily "Law and Order" marathon on either USA or TNT, a Garzo Tire advertisement came on the air.No big deal, obviously cable shows are going to have commercial breaks.This particular ad, though, left me gaping, appalled at what I had just witnessed.
The Statesman staff would like to express their sympathies and to everyone affected by the Sunday night fire in Blumberg Hall.We understand that witnessing the fire was both scary and traumatic for many of the students involved, not to mention the subsequent need to change residence hall rooms and try to focus on classes the next day.
