Presidential search committee remains hopeful of choosing candidate by July

Even though two of the three ISU presidential candidates withdrew from the search earlier this month, the presidential search committee remains hopeful that they can find a president to succeed Lloyd W. Benjamin III."We have some additional candidates added to the pool," said John Beacon, vice president of enrollment marketing, management and communication.

As the academic year nears its end, ISU's smoking policy review committee is preparing to submit a report to the Board of Trustees. This report will contain statistics derived from campus polls regarding the current smoking policy but not a specific recommendation of reform.

New Zimbra system includes e-mail, instant messaging

When students return to campus next fall and log in to check their e-mail, they may be surprised-ISU's MyMail e-mail service may be replaced with an entirely different system.Zimbra, the program being considered to replace MyMail, is currently being tested by a small group of students who will send their evaluations to the Office of Information Technology.
