March Madness Picks Advice

This is the most wonderful time of the year. It's tournament time people. We are Hoosiers mostly, and trust me, we love our basketball. This is my guide to the teams to look out for in the NCAA tournament.

Ten seed BYU Cougars— The Cougars have one of the most potent scorers and leaders in college basketball in Jimmer Fredette

Five seed Butler Bulldogs— longest winning streak in the nation and with sophomore guard/forward Gordon Hayward all things are possible.

Five seed Temple Owls—Temple is well balanced, well coached and a dangerous defensive presence. A showdown with Big-ten's Wisconsin seems imminent, and I got the Owls winning the throw down.

Three seed New Mexico Lobos—  Junior guard Darington Hobson doesn't just score well for the Lobos, this guy almost averages a double-double with 9.2 rebounds a game, and he's a guard. The Lobos are a bad matchup for just about anyone in that region minus Kentucky.

Dark horse from Hades:
Seven seeded Richmond Spiders— Yes, I just said Richmond. They have the length, athleticism and post defense to beat Villanova. It just depends which Richmond team shows up.

Nine seed Louisville— This team is hot and they can play ball. Defensively they are good, and they don't rely on the three that much.

11 seed Old Dominion— This team can play with anybody and an already banged up Notre Dame adds to the equation.

Teams to avoid:
Four seed Purdue—Siena is a tough team. Purdue is without their star. Advantage Siena.

Five seed Michigan State—Sparty is on the ropes, and I doubt they will get out of the second round this year.

My final four:
Ohio State— Three go to scorers= NCAA monster
Kentucky—freshman guard John Wall is tough and forward Demarcus Cousins is questionably the best post presence in all of the NCAA.
Villanova—Scottie Reynolds is the dominant leader in NCAA basketball currently.
Kansas State— Defensively the Wildcats are one of the best teams in  the NCAAs .

My Champion:
Ohio State
